The Browns held a free public practice Saturday afternoon at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus with Jr. Browns Backers as the day's theme.
The seventh open practice
The team scheduled gates to open at 12:30 p.m. and practice to begin at 1:30 p.m. on August 8. It was the seventh of nine free open sessions announced for the 2026 camp and the only date designated for Jr. Browns Backers.
Open practices give fans an early look at position battles and the rhythms of preparation, but they are also community events. The youth theme and family-facing activations made this session particularly relevant for families who may not regularly attend an NFL game.
What the official schedule confirms
The Browns listed all camp dates as approximate and subject to weather. The club also warned that practices moved indoors would close to the public because of limited space. Those details matter when reporting camp activity: an announced open practice is not a guarantee that every scheduled element occurred exactly as planned.
Cleveland Boricua is therefore treating the official schedule as confirmation of the planned public session and avoiding unverified claims about individual quarterback reps or player performance until a dated team report is available.
