CLEVELAND ESSENTIAL

Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Between Cleveland and Akron

Cuyahoga Valley National Park protects forests, farms, waterfalls and the winding Cuyahoga River between Cleveland and Akron. The Towpath Trail, Brandywine Falls, the Ledges and seasonal scenic rail experiences offer very different ways to spend a day.

What to expect

There is no single front gate, so visitors should choose a trailhead or visitor center before driving into the park. Popular lots can fill, trail surfaces change with weather and some facilities operate seasonally.
